Farm Update

We are looking forward to another productive year. 2018 was a bountiful year here at Covelo Organic - despite all of the fires and smoke that covered the Round Valley for most of the summer months.

The covercrop of bell beans, triticale and rye is growing strong. The garlic is mulched and healthy. And the garden is saturated from all of this years rainfall!

We've started the spring and early summer crops in the greenhouse. And as soon as the soil can be worked we will begin transplanting and direct seeding.

2019 Community Supported Agriculture

The 2019 CSA season will start on June 12th and end November 20. We are starting a little later this season due to all of the rain we are receiving this year.

Spring of the 2019 Season

Covelo Organic is located in the north-west corner of Round Valley in Mendocino county. Tom Palley started the farm in 1989. Brandon Gatto & Monica Gowan are managing the farm.

We have been committed to ORGANIC practices from the beginning. The garden uses inter-species planting, crop rotation, cover cropping, mulch, flowers and compost to create a haven for the garden. Tour the farm by clicking here.
